Bottle @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus. Hazy orange to dark orange color with some yeast residu floating in it, huge full sized white head. Smell and taste malts, a light to average metallic hop aroma and flavor with a quite soft bitterness. As an English style IPA it’s not bad but there is definitely room for improvement here. Ok beer.

Tap at the brewpub and 11% this year! Poured a hazy medium amber with a thin white head and some clingy lace. The aroma is strong yeast, boozy alcohol. The flavour is strong bitter with a big yeast alcoholic liqourice bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. The yeast and the alcohol truly dominate this beer which also burns a little as you might expect. I didn’t like this enough to finish the whole glass.

Tap at the Brewpub. Poured a clear dark brown witn a thin broken white head and some clingy lace. The aroma is caramel malt, sweet raisins. The flavour is moderate sweet with a rich malt bitter, yeasty, chewy, earthy over ripe fruit palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. One of the better Brouwcafe beers IMO. Nicely balanced with just the right level of sweetness.
