Bottled, labelled Jezek Special Svetlé. Deep golden. Aroma of alcohol, paper and butter. Warming, butoverly sweet and the hops can’t balance all the sweetness. Low bitterness.

500 ml bottle, bought at Pivni Galerie, Prague. ABV is 8.0%. Golden colour, moderate head. Nice hoppy aroma, notes of caramel and berries. Flavour is hoppy (plenty of Saaz and probably other hops too) and moderately alcoholic (as expected from an 8% beer), but malty enough to sustain the hops and alcohol. Moderate sweetness throughout. Way ahead of most other high ABV golden lagers I’ve tasted.

Golden coloured. Grassy hop aroma. Medium bodied, dry with nice oily saaz hop aroma, and balanced bitter finish. A very good pilsener.

I like Jezek's other beers, but this one tastes like water with a spoonful of brown sugar dissolved in it.
