Bottle, 7.3% Quite malty, brown sugar aroma. Clear, very dark brown colour. Small creamy light brown head. The flavour is quite powerful, quite sweet, creamy with lots of malt. Finishes with a little sour alcohol, which is good here, reminding me of liquorice. Late hint of barley bitterness.

Bottled. A golden beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet malty combined with notes of caramel and straw. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel and straw, leading to a bitter finish. Quite pleasant.

500ml bottle at St Albans BF 2007. Clear gold, lovely and clean, clean crisp, lemon, wow, the finish is so hoppy and clean. This is the best pilsner I?ve even had. I liked it so much I bought another bottle and drank it on the train on the way home.4.3 regularly on tap at Eulenspiegal. apart from a little co2 emptiness on the finish this is still lovely. floral fresh hop aroma. it looks lovely. the aroma I could smell and smell. then clean and more floral bitterness on the finish. just a bit too crisp to be top league. Bottled. Clear golden color, big frothy white head. Aroma of clean hop, pilsner malt, bit flowery, typical german. Nice bitter taste, bit flowery. Good german beer.

Bottle. Small head that quickly diminishes. Color is hazy dark amber. Aroma is rich and malty. Taste is malt and hops. Oily palate.

Würziger Antrunk, wobei sich ein herber Ton von Anfang an festsetzt. Im Mittelteil etwas weniger würzig, dennoch ist der Ton noch in angenehmen Maße vorhanden. Der leichte Rückgang wird durch aufkommende Malzigkeit kompensiert. Im Nachgeschmack etwas röstmalzig, was lange anhält, dafür ist das Bier hier kaum würzig. Clear orange brown color, medium off-white head. Soft aroma of caramel malt, hop. Bit bitter taste. Decent but quite boring.

Tap, served in a classic german mug. Clear orange color as far as i can see, short head. Caramel malty aroma, very hoppy, bit pine, slight floral. Malty taste, bit sweet. Quite fruity as well. A very nice kellerbier, with almost perfect balance. The bitterness resembles almost an IPA. Very good stuff.

Amber with a white bubbly head. & good lacings. Very malty aroma - nutty/bread/caramel - light sweet. Medium carbonation & body. Very nice bitter hops that gives a pleasant lasting end & a fine balance to the maltyness!. fresh & crisp. Nice! Draft @ Brewery July, 2010. Crisp, smooth, freshly hopped. Very fine. At least 0,1 up.
