Description
Shilling Brewing Co. is the first to bring the brewpub experience to the heart of Glasgow. A place where an appreciation of the art and science of brewing is at the core of what we do and for all to see, taste and enjoy.

Glasgow has been pioneering the perfect pint for over 400 years and the Shilling Brewing Co. is contributing to the next chapter in this story by creating a space where everyone can discover and appreciate beer, straight from the source.

This includes our core range of beers designed to be enjoyed fresh, just meters from where they are brewed, alongside a host of beers sourced from pioneering craft breweries.

Hazy golden beer, white head. Tangy, sour citrus aroma. Taste isn’t sour at all though. Sweet and citrusy with the bready quality you’d expect from a wit. Refreshing, quaffable.

Half at Shilling. Hazy yellow with a bready, citrus aroma. Flavour is as tart and tangy as you’d expect and a bit much for me to have too much of. As these go, though, it’s not sickly or anything like that so while I couldn’t drink a lot of it it’s not got a hugely lingering taste, which works for me in this instance.

Third of a cask pint at the Scottish Real Ale Festival in Edinburgh’s Corn Exchange on 7th July 2017. Hazy golden amber pour, wispy topping. Interesting beer, found the orange peel, pepper and coriander in the nose and taste, not too sure what ’Pink Peppercorn’ smells or tastes like? Hid the alcohol pretty well.

On cask @ SRAF. Golden with a decent head. Some gorse notes. Some burnt notes too. Citrus is the main thing. The taste is very similar in fact. Solid.
