On tap at The Star & Garter, Bromley. Hazy yellow pour with a white head. Sweet citrus, peach & tropical fruit aromas. Zesty citrusy taste, splash of white pepper, quite herby. Spicy herby bitter linger with underlying sweet fruits.

On tap at Brew Festival. A black one, topped by a dense, finger-thick dark beige head. The aroma is burnt and roasted, with bonfire notes, dark dried fruit and some oats. It’s medium to full-bodied and very soft on the palate, with a burnt malts kind of bitterness. Roasted and burnt malts, some bonfire and oats, as well as prune and raisin. Lasting finish. Perhaps a bit gentle this one, but at least it downs easily. 220430

On tap at Brew Festival. An unclear orange colored beer topped by a creamy finger-thick off-white head. Super-fruity, tropical aroma with grapefruit, orange and pine cones. Pale malts too. It’s full to medium bodied, smooth and nicely carbonated, with a light sweetness. Fruity, tropical flavor too, less intense than the aroma, and giving room for the pale malts. Lasting fruity finish with a light bitterness. The aroma is really wonderful in this one, and the rest of the beer is nice too. 220430

On tap at Brew Festival. It's a dark brown unclear beer with a dense off-white to beige head. Some curtains. Malty aroma, oats, bread crust, some burnt malts and dried fruit. It's full-bodied and soft on the palate, nicely carbonated, with a light burn malt kind of bitterness. Roasted malts, bread crust, burn malt notes and some dark dried fruit in the flavor. Hints of molasses show up in the else roasted malts finish. A delicious one indeed, the beer style suits the higher than normal ABV. 220429
