ABV: 12.2%. Clear dark black brown colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, beige head. Aroma is light heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, peanut - peanutbutter, cinnamon. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, peanut, chocolate, cocoa, cinnamon, dark malt, sweet malt, balanced. Body is medium to full, texture is oily - creamy, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20221209]

Bottle. Pours clear black, smell tan head, decent lacing. Aroma is pepper, cocoa, cinnamon. Flavor is light plus sweet, light bitter. Light plus heat. Medium body. Over spiced and over peppered. And over rated.

On tap at Wolf's Ridge, pours a deep dark mahogany with a tiny head. Aroma brings out balsamic, Worcestershire sauce, vinous notes, and tart red fruits. Flavour is quite vinous, with plenty of red wine barrels, moderate acidity, balsamic, and a touch of Worcestershire sauce. Nicely constructed, with not too much vinegar or acidity, and nice wine barrel presence. Very good.

On tap at Wolf's Ridge, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of coffee, vanilla and lactose. Flavour is pleasantly sweet, with subdued, heavily sweetened coffee, gentle lactose, and a touch of vanilla. Pretty solid flavoured coffee vanilla ale. A cream ale? Whatever it is, it's decent.
