Keg at the brewery tap. Pours clear gold with a small, creamy head. The nose holds very little, just some mellow pale bread. Medium sweet flavour with notes of doughy white bread, meringue, low bitterness. Light bodiednwith average carbonation. Sugary finish, with more white bread, Angel good cake and meringue, biscuits, hay. Pretty simple stuff, but not bad.

More of a stout vibe than a scotch ale but still decent drinking. Roast and heavy malt without the peat moss like Scottish swamps. Dark brown pour with good head. Bitter and light tangy finish. Tap at brewery.

Draft. Cloudy deep yellow body. Frothy white head. Aroma of citrus, clove, banana, lemon, toasted grain, raw grain. The flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter and lightly acidic. It finishes lightly sweet and lightly to moderately bitter with some lingering tartness. Medium body, watery/syrupy texture, lively carbonation. Dry, but gummy-feeling finish. Taste of banana, clove, lemon.

On tap at Ratio, pours a deep dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out lots of French press coffee, light toasted caramel. Flavour is all coffee, with little scotch ale left. Nice coffee bomb, but it's not particularly complex. Decent.

On tap at Ratio, pours a deep dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out toasted caramel and bready malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with toasted caramel, bready malt and a hint of toffee. Definitely on the sweet side, and not all that complex. Okay.
