Bottle split at RB Best awards dinner, thanks, 30/01/16. Clear golden blonde with a decent off white head. Nose is tangy fruit rinds, straw, orange peel, mellow brett tang. Taste comprises wood must, lemon tinged straw, brett strokes, herbal wash, funk, apricot. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a modest pucker. Decent enough funky saison.

Bottle thanks to the Hale. Pours a cloudy brown with medium beige head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is cocoa, roast, wood, brown sugar. Medium body, similar flavors to nose, licorice, ash, tobacco, lingering dry finish, good.

Bottle sample at Ratebeer awards show. 30/01/2016. .A murky shit water brown coloured pour with a loose off white head. Aroma is red fruits, strawberry, woody pine resin, farmyard. Flavour is composed of big wintergreen, tangy wood, pine tips. Too many spices. Palate is woody tannin, moderate carbonation. Too heavy with the spices.

Bottle shared at Ratebeer awards show. 30/01/2016. . A hazed golden straw coloured pour with a halo of white head. Aroma is dung, earthy straw, grape must, brett. Flavour is composed of bretty funk, raw grains, vinous, leather, tangy finish. Straw and grainy tannin. Palate is grainy, pinch of acid, moderate carbonation. Lingering socks and funk.

Bottle shared at JoeT’s house during RBWG 2016. Pours unclear copper with a creamy tan head. The nose has some tangy berries, damp wood, a little funk, poop. Light sweet flavor with ripe berries, cherry, maybe some yoghurt, earth, grapes. Light bodied with average carbonation. More tangy fruits in the finish, some musty grapes, damp grains, earth. A little awkward.

Bottle split at Joe T house, Santa Rosa, 04/02/16. Chestnut brown with a decent beige covering. Nose is caramel, dark fruit rinds, sweet and sour vibes, nutty, airy malt. Taste comprises toffee, fruit loaf, mellow fruit, candy peel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent well balanced number.

Bottle at JoeT’s cat cabana. Thanks JesusOfRB. Light hazy copper liquid with small to medium off-white head. Aroma of raw sugar, apples, dried fruit, raisins and red berries. Taste is light sweet and light bitter with notes of raisins, raw sugar, toffee and red berries. Medium to full bodied with medium carbonation. Quite good.
