Can from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours hazy gold with a moderate, foamy white head. Aroma of citrus, perhaps even zest, with a hint of armpit? Med body. Juicy, but rather dry and earthy. Citrus zest, citrus, and some melon. Bitter for sure. Good.

Can from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours coppery/amber with a large foamy white head. Pineapple in the aroma. Med plus body. Flavor is some pineapple and a lot of darkish toffee - or Tmavy like malt. My descriptors are sadly lacking. It's not exactly dry, but it's not exactly sweet. There's an overall dark fruit aspect - but not necessarily fruit. Some heat. The effect on the mouth is like a dry bitterness with lurking lightly sweet malt. Took awhile, but I finally noticed rum. And wood. Complex enough for me - especially considering there may not be that many flavor variations in it. I really, really like it. Belgian dark ale. With rum. With wood. Glad I persisted in parsing this. Very good IMHO.

Can from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours clear, darkly ruddy amber with a large foamy beige head - nigh a Guinness head. Aroma of toffee with mild hop. Med body or better. Flavor is typical amber, but there's enough hop to make it decent. Might be cacao note. Goes surprisingly dry in the finish. Decent level of bitter.
