Sample at the taproom. This beer pours brown-black with a medium foamy khaki head that receded steadily to an outer ring. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Roasted malt, coffee and chocolate in the nose. Medium-bodied with a roasty coffee and malt character, along with flavors of chocolate and mild hops. The finish is roasty with a coffee aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Sample at the taproom. The beer pours a dark cola-brown color with a medium light beige head that recedes steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate and rye. Medium to full body with flavors of chocolate malt, earthy hops and mildly spicy rye. The finish is malty up front with a lingering resiny hop aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Sample at the taproom. Clear copper-gold color with a medium off-white head that diminishes gradually to a film. Strings of lacing on the glass. Piney hops, citrus and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of resiny hops, citrus and rye malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a piney hops and rye aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Sample at the taproom. Pours a dark reddish-brown color with a medium beige head that dissipates steadily to a film. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt, coconut and chocolate. Light-bodied with a toasted coconut character and flavors of caramel malt and chocolate in the background. The finish is roasty coconuts and malt. Pretty good overall.

Sample at the taproom. Hazy pale orange-gold color with a thin white head that evaporates quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of herbal wheat, apricots and malt. Light to medium body with flavors of Belgian yeast, apricots, toasted malt and mild hops. The finish is apricots and grassy hops. Pretty good overall.

Sample at the taproom. Pours black with a little brown around the edges and a medium foamy tan head that diminishes steadily to a film. Patchy lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate and yeast. Medium-bodied with a roasted coffee and malt character, with some earthy yeast and hops in the background. The finish is charred malt with a mild yeast aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

Draft. Nearly opaque black color, tan head. Aroma of earthy cocoa and coffee. Taste is very bitter pine resin. Decent.

Sampled at Funk Asheville 2015. Aroma has lots o fresh cucumber. Taste is light, softly sour, dry finish. A fun and easy drinking festival beer.

Sampled at Funk Asheville 2015. This one has a great aroma of dusty tropical fruit. Taste is softly sour. Great summer drink.
