This beer pours a brown-black color with a medium beige head that diminishes gradually to a dense film. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of coffee, chai spice and malt. Full-bodied with a roasty malt and coffee character, and flavors of chai spice and chocolate. The finish is sweet with a chai tea and coffee aftertaste. Good beer all around.

This beer pours a slightly hazy yellow-gold color with a medium thick ivory white head that diminishes gradually to a dense film. Sticky strings of lace. Floral hops, tropical fruit and malt in the nose. Light-bodied with a floral hop character and flavors of pithy grapefruit and bready malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a citrusy hop aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

500ml bottle at Benny’s place, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a murky dark brown colour with a round frothy tan head. The aroma is roasty, chocolate. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a smooth, rich, oily, roasty, liqourice, chocolate, cinnamon spices, warm boozy alcohol bitter palate. Full bodied with soft carbonation. Feel privileged to have been able to taste this. Awesome!

More proof Burial is the best brewery on the east coast at brewing West Coast IPAs. Grainy and citric with notes of tropical fruit and white grape, with touches of melon and mango. Finishes with a mild piney bitterness. Deliciousness.

I’m loving the look of these unfiltered ipas. The pour looks like a glass of orange juice. Aroma is incredible! Loads of citrus oils, zest and super fragrant juice. Fresh green hop cones between your fingers, with the slightest hint of crackery malts. Medium bitterness, super zesty finish. An absolute hop bomb, but not over powering, and incredibly refreshing and easy to drink. Outstanding!
