Substantial imperial stout, thick and rich yet lacking serious booziness, impressive with a 10% ABV. Deep veins of chocolate and coffee underlined by caramel and a firm mocha bitterness. Notes of cascara and anise peek through as it warms. Delicious.

Clean burning, but maybe a bit weak with the lasting flavor. A flash in the pan of NZ.

Micky van de Ven at the double today! 🇳🇱

Peaches and cream, a little bite on the finish. Very nice to get this Sunday started (trying to forget that awful beer from earlier).

Super Sunday: Spurs win away at Everton (3-nil), and Eagles smoke the Giants (38-20).

Knew the can art reminded me of a beer sticker. Great West Coast IPA. Collab with There Does Not Exist. Makes me miss my most recent trip to California.

A faux #MonkishMonday, and much needed. Hair of the dog after getting wasted yesterday. Tough night on the ice. Lost 5-4, goalie made a very nice save on me with about 2mins left.

Incredible juice, and not a hint of the 12%. Brilliant.

Zippy pils. Clean burning, crisp, bready. Very sessional. Went well with a nice Jalen Hurts performance, Serie A, La Liga, etc.

Pale yellow body with thick white head. Faint bready aroma. Light taste with mostly grain. Some finish. A hot weather or go back to work beer.

Another good WCIPA from Burial, a nice mix of dry citrus notes, a touch of tropical fruit, and a firm pine bitterness. Slight mineral earthiness on the fade. Nice pint.
