Draft pour pint at Red Star. Hazy golden pour with a thin fizz head. Very strong impressions of a ginger and basil in both aroma and flavor. Cool minty aroma to pair. Light feel pale with am base qualities overpowered. Fun beer, but being in the mood for a beer like this is a must. Another wacky option, which I’ve learned to expect from Outlander. I like it.

Bottle at Marin Brewing Company. Almost clear golden liquid with medium to big white head. Aroma of lemon, apple skin, light grain, pineapple and light fresh hops. Taste is dry and light to medium bitter with notes of lemon, apple and grain. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Nice!

Tasting at Matt’s
Hazy red to dark amber color with large head. The aroma reminds me of European ales; the mouthfeel is overly carbonated, a bit herbal, too yeasty.
I will never like these beers.
