Much thought and respect to Mike D, as I drink this beer. A true inspiration, and left us way too soon. As for the beer, Pours banana yellow with no head. Orange liquor aroma. Smells like a screwdriver. Well, it’s orange juice like a spike of malt liquor. In all reality, this drinks semi nicely. Finishes harsh, but most malt liquors do for me. By the way, isn’t every beer a malt liqour? I will ask that question forever. Unique for sure. Tastes much heavier than it is. Interesting.

Draft 12 oz pour at the brewery. Pours a glowing red color with no head. Beer is a strange mix of corny lager quality and sour fruit cherry. Very corny in the late palate. Cherry fruit flavor is not bad, but the blend throws me off. I think this beer is very close, but I’ll just call it good for now.

Brass, got this dance that’s more than real
Drink Brass Monkey here’s how you feel
Put your left leg down your right leg up
Tilt your head back let’s finish the cup
M.C.A. With the bottle (D. Rocks the can)
Adrock gets nice with Charlie Chan
We’re offered Moet (we don’t mind Chivas)
Wherever we go with bring the Monkey with us
Adrock drinks three (Mike D. Is D.)
Double R. Foots the bill most definitely
I drink Brass Monkey and I rock well
I got a Castle in Brooklyn (that’s where I dwell
I have been a beastie fan for almost 2 decades and for at least half that time I have been thinking of making one of these. Props for getting it done Outlander. It tastes as you would expect.

Bottle - Sweet, perfumy, raisin and plum notes. Cloudy brown with a white head. Perfumy, effervescent and plum notes. Interesting and pleasant.

750mL bottle, pours a filthy brownish amber with a large white head. Aroma brings out floral notes and murky herbal fungal notes - strange. Flavour is jumbled, with floral notes, some fungal and herbal notes, and yeasty notes. Highly carbonated and quite messy. Not a disaster, but pretty pointless.

On tap at Outlander, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out loads of resinous and citrus hops. Flavour is insanely and nastily sweet, with loads of residual sugars upfront, some resin and caramel. The sugars need to ferment out more - this is just undrinkable as is unfortunately. No good.

On tap at Outlander, pours an opaque dark orange amber with a small beige head. Nose brings out Belgian yeast and dried fruits. Flavour is cloyingly sweet, with dried fruits, Belgian yeast and lots of residual sugar. Not cohesive at all and very messy. Way too sweet. Not good.

On tap at Outlander, pours a cloudy opaque dull golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings lots of Belgian yeast, followed by tart plum. Flavour is more fruity, with tart pithy plum and lots of Belgian yeast. Good for what it is, just not overly fussed on it. Well-made.

On tap at Outlander, pours an opaque pinkish red with a small pink-tinged white head. Nose brings out notes of raspberry pithiness and light tartness. Flavour is very well-constructed, with loads of tart jammy raspberries. Not a whole lot else here but it's quite well brewed. Well-balanced and drinkable. Good stuff.

On tap at Outlander, pours a clear dull golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out piney hops, with some citrus, and biscuity malt to back - though not overly cohesive. Flavour is on the sweet side, with resinous hops, caramely biscuity malt and way too much residual sugar. Quite difficult to drink after a while, but it's not a disaster. Not good.
