Tap at Cap Hop. Pours dark brown/black with a tan head. Aroma of bourbon, dark malt and a bit of chocolate. Medium plus body. Flavor is bourbon, chocolate and “old” wood notes. Reasonably towards dry. Mildly bitter. Nice flavor.

On tap pours out crisp clean straw topped with a white head. Nose is sweet fruit hops citrus and some cereal. Taste is more of the nice light sweet fruit hops citrus and a touch of grain.

Tap at Cap Hop. Pours clear dark brown with a tan head. Aroma is chocolate with a little dark malt that says “Deutschland”. Med body at least. Flavor is mild cocoa (not exactly chocolate with grease - just the powder) and dark malt of the German persuasion with a bit/hint of spice. Pretty dry. Bitter enough - maybe from the malt. Tasty!

Tap at Paxti’s Pizza in San Carlos. Faint aroma of Orange and nothing else. Clear deep gold with fluffy, sustained white head and otter w. Taste is a earth and slight citrus in the back. Taste like it is well past it’s prime. A bit of chalk and dirt floor.
