Light again. Got the flavours you’d expect but maybe not the taste. It’s nice but not great.

Light too. Nice nuttiness. Reminds me a bit of a lighter alt.

Tap at BeerFes Osaka 2018. Kind of shocked to see them making something other than their 3 German-style regulars. Citrus hop nose, some caramel. Orange and light tropical fruits coming from the hops, not too sweet but rather simple and old-fashioned.

Draught at the brewpub. Very cloudy, icy pastel yellow with a super fine, thin head. Decent banana and clove aroma with a touch of tropical fruits. Soft, sweet banana and clove flavor. Very creamy and rich, with some minerals. Soft body but too carbonated. Good flavor, though, and nice balance. Solid.

Draught at the brewpub. Clear gold with a fine, fluffy head. Malty, bready aroma. Rich malty flavor. Sweet, but with clean hops. Nice malty sweetness distinguishes it from the major lagers, as does a clean hoppy finish. Nice. Not special but very solid.

Draught at the brewpub. Pretty deep amber color with a fine, fluffy head. Sweet bready malts up front, with caramel and chocolate. Tasty, with clean, semi-bitter finish and a slight mineral edge. A solid dunkel. Nothing wonderful, but has a dry finish and is not cloying. Works well with their spare ribs.
