On tap at Komachi. Bright pastel pale yellow, glowing, with a white head. Dank, pissy, mineral nose, a bit sweaty, with grapefruit and some onion and garlic. Crisp malt flavor, citrus and dank hops. Pushing the limits of the flavors I normally want in a beer, but this is really well done dankness.

Tap at Nomcraft Juso. Deep orange to bronze. Very piny, resiny aroma with citrus, some stone fruit, and biscuit malt. Lots of Chinook in there, I suppose. Not sure if they actually added spruce tips or the like, because it is super resiny, but it seems like it's from the hops. Not overdone. Really easy drinking, resiny IPA.

From the nitro at Nomcraft Juso. Deep brown to black with a tall, off-white nitro head. Nutty, roasted aroma, chocolate and some fruit. Roasty flavor, medium sweet, smooth, velvety body. Well done.

Hazy IPA 7%
This orange gold brew was juicier than dank with a fairly full smooth body and an easy-drinking balanced tropical fruitiness.
Really good brew though. Nomcraft is always a solid choice.

Tap at Mugi to Kome Festival, Kyoto. Tropical fruit, stone fruit, citrus in the nose. Crisp bready malt. Medium golden orange color. Rich malt flavor, great fruit. Easy drinking, nice stuff.

Nomcraft Moon Bow Sheep IPA 6.5%
Rich gold color with very thick soapy looking off-white foam. The aroma is richly dank with fruity mango overtones. Medium bodied with a semi-dry finish. The flavor matches the nose and is very much in west coast territory.

Tap at Komachi. Pours a pale pastel yellow, very hazy. Nose is citrus and some fusel alcohol notes. Boozy from the start. Flavor is lots of lemon and tropical fruits from the hops, plus a strong boozy flavor. These are hard beers to do well, and while this is ok, it's far too boozy and hard to drink.

From the can at the Juso taproom. Clear, bright gold. Bright citrus nose, clean malt aroma. Fresh and crisp flavor, nice hops, lots of citrus, some spice and tropical, spicy finish. Crisp and clean.

Tap at the Juso taproom. Dark brown, lace. A bit cloudy. Malty, slightly smoky nose, chocolate and caramel and spices. Not sure what has been added to this. Flavor is somewhat sweet, again lightly smoky, and spicy in a somewhat astringent way. Lacks the big malt richness I expect in the style. A bit of a strange one.
