Draft: Poured a caramel amber with a creamy huge off white head. Aroma is rich malt, biscuit, sweet. Taste is rich malts, little earthy, sweetness, slash of tingly citrus.

Doesn’t much resemble a pils—tasted blind I would call it a west coast DIPA through and through—but it’s still a damn good beer, chock full of bright stone fruit and tropical notes backed up by citrus pith, pine, and a mineral bitterness laced with flowers. Delicious.

Such a great pint. Cocoa, toasted pumpernickel, banana, clove, and a touch of dried fruit, with a mild floral bitterness and a warm, caramel-nut fade. Delicious.

Layered and grassy, with citrus and tropical notes against a dry, herbal back end and pine and a subtle sweetness on the fade.

Decent West Coast pils, a touch restrained, with a hearty tropical hop note dominating the profile. Finishes dry and with a touch of pine.

Lovely west coast IPA from a WCIPA master. Notes of candied orange peel and caramel coupled with mango, toast, and a hint of melon. Finishes with a moderate dose of pine. Nice.

Crisp and light, with a mild note of lime, mango, and a slight bit of pine, and a clean, grain-tinged finish. Decent.

19.2 oz. can. Pours a clear, golden color, with a small, white head. The nose is tangerine, perfume, coriander, and butterscotch. Sweet and citrusy, with a mellow, pithy bitterness. Kinda phenoic and chemically tasting. Medium body, slick, and hot. Odd, but not too unpleasant.

Deep dark brown coloured body with a very thick, four to five centimetre tall light brown head that seems to stay afloat of the pretty opaque (due to the colour) body nicely. Aroma of roasted malt, a bunch of sweetness, caramel, oatmeal, resinous hops, pineapple and a nice kick of pine and alcohol at the end of the nose. Medium to Full-bodied; Very rich roasted malt notes are very nice and provide great body while being pretty clean, also the caramel and toffee provides a great layer of range and support for the piney and grapefruity hops which show some bitterness at the end, along with some deep alcohol, too. Aftertaste is pretty clean for the style and alcohol content here, with a nice kick of sweet, but not cloying, caramel, rich toasted malts with some vanilla noticeable at the end, but the hops and alcohol are strongest here, in a good way. Overall, a pretty nice beer and a good collaboration with the best part about this one being the malt bill that provides a great backbone, while being very easy-drinking and not bitter - great to try fresh, locally! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Costco in Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia on 23-February-2023 for US$3,25 ($12,99/four pack) sampled at my house here in Washington a few blocks away on 16-April-2023.

Pint can given as a gift from Georgia - Hazy amber body, small head. Big syrupy sweet hop bomb. Lots of sweetness from citrus hits and sweet melon. Heavy mouthfeel.
