Better than many New Realm beers. Pineapple and grapefruit. Hazy golden pour. Pretty big body for hazy. Butter finish. More west coast in feel than hazy.

Almost perfectly clear golden and light orange coloured body with a very thick, dense four centimetre tall off-white and light tan head that seems a tad oily, but stays atop nicely and looks a bit microfoamed. Aroma of mangoes (of course), alcohol, resin, pineapple, oranges, syrup and a light hit of wheated malt. Full-bodied; Very rich and pretty medicinal, astringent notes up front with some tropical notes too, of course, but the pineapple and oranges seem stronger than the mangoes somehow, but the mango is still here too, of course, but the sweetness is strong, as are the alcohol and pungency. Aftertaste is crisp, but very tropical with a pretty nice balance of malt and hops with a strong alcohol, astringent fruits, citrus and acidity with a lot of both pineapple and mangoes here, but the alcohol does seem at around 9 per cent. Overall, a nice, super tropically beer that is very nice in terms of mangoes and fruit, but perhaps a bit too strong in alcohol and sweetness. Great to try, especially super fresh and local-ish - great to try, especially if you like Mangoes and tropical fruits! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Total Wine in Alexandria (Potomac Yard), Virginia on 27-June-2022 for US$3,79, packaged on 11-March-2022 and sampled at my house here in Washington on 10-July-2022.

Big, fruity modern West Coast IPA, with hefty notes of pineapple, stone fruits, and mandarin, underlined by caramel, pine, and a touch of wet malt. Modest bitterness on the finish; I was hoping for a little more hop bite, but still a nice pint.

Not sure the “Cold IPA” lends itself to being imperialized. Gets the wet, funky corn sweetness of a high-gravity lager, but the hops never seem assertive enough to overtake this sugary center. Floral notes and pine come through on the back end. Needs to be smaller.

19.2 oz can from The Belmont Market. Orange golden pour, filmy head. Fruity aroma, tangerine, mango and a potent hoppiness. Taste is sweet and fruity up front before succumbing to some potent alcohol warmth. Better than I was expecting, fruity, juicy and some heat.

Solid DIPA, with notes of lime, pineapple, citrus zest, and a touch of mint, with a pine-mineral bitterness on the back end and a grainy sweet streak in the fade. Good, but could use a little more depth.

12 ounce can from Wegman's Charlottesville, 6/8/23. Hazy orange medium white head, average retention. Aroma of grapefruit, melon, dank, a white grapeish thing. Taste is grapefruit, tropical fruit, mango. Jammy, low bitterness. Weird but not nad.
