On tap at Aslan Depot, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma is fairly dry, with bready malt, floral hops, and a touch of butterscotch. Flavour is fairly dry, with dry floral hops, biscuity malt, and a touch of bitter pine. Kind of strange hop expresion but it’s reasonably constructed.

On tap at Aslan Depot, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Nose is dominated by the peated whiskey, which melds nicely with the brett… mmm. Flavour is rather acidic, but the peated whiskey character is wonderfully expressed. That acidity is rather unrestrained though and not perfectly complemented by the whiskey. Unusual marriage and it sort of works, but it does need some refinement.

On tap at Aslan Depot, pours a clear amber brown with a small beige head. Aroma has a lot of murky hopburn — strange to detect this in a clear, dark IPA — with lots of earthiness. Flavour doesn't seem well-dialed in at all: earthy hops, some sludgy notes, very flimsy malts. This tastes like a low effort, low skill dark IPA made by someone who has no idea what they're doing. Not good.

On tap at Aslan Depot, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma has saline, plenty of coriander, wheat, and a touch of tart citrus. Flavour is much the same, with tart citrus, coriander, a touch of mixed cultures, and saline. Nicely put-together — actually brings out the gose character without shrouding it in adjuncts. Good stuff.

12oz can from Boise Co-op. Clear, deep golden pour, patchy head. Sweet, toasty malt aroma. Taste is light, malty, tannic, toasty. Quick finish.

On tap at WABF 2024, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma is very perfumey in the hop department, with vegetal notes and some floral notes. Flavour is vegetal, with lots of bitter, vegetal notes, perfumey hops, and grass. I don't care what process they used here: this isn't great. Also, organic is bullshit.

Light roast, some ashes. Brown pour with decent head. Light bitter end. Some caramel. Can.

12 oz. can, pours a deep dark reddish brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out toasted malt and bready notes. Flavour is gentle and pleasant, with toasted malt, some toasted nuts and a hint of caramel. Very low sweetness and some bready malt. Timid but fine.

On tap at Aslan, pours a deep dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is gentle, with toasted malt and subtle, dry, earthy cocoa. Flavour is dry and earthy, with subtle cocoa and earthy toasted grains. Lacking much depth but there's nothing wrong with it per se. Not great but not terrible.
