Shirokoji Saison from Octone Brewing

Tap. Hazy deep gold with a thick head. Nose of koji, a bit of sake, Belgian saison yeast, bready malt, citrus. Well balanced, well fermented saison character with koji on top. The koji goes together well with the base beer, although I don't think it adds much.

medium golden color. Very light bitterness but strong funkiness. This is more like a table Belgian ale than an American wheat. Clean and refreshing.

dark amber color. Big orange and apple character. Fairly soft hop character. Somewhere between n American and uk pale ale. Medium bitterness. Clean well Meade but not a lot of character

deep golden color. Minty, earthiness with some peach character. Very different wcipa. Medium ful body.

slightly hazy golden amber color. Lots of vitamin c and lemon character, very juicy. Dry. Medium low carbonation and bitterness. Super fresh and well balanced. Not amazing depth but very tasty

very clear. Golden color. Nice black pepper, funky yeast, biscuity malt. Solid bitterness. Super approachable and drinkable.
