Hazy blond colour; small head. Aroma of resiny hops, some green grass too, though. The body is lean, very little residual sweetness, delicate malt, the hopping is a bit juicy, sweet orange and mandarin, a bit more grassy in the final.
Good but not exceptional.

Draught. Very faint aroma, may have been too cold. Black pour with thin tan head. Chocolate and coffee in the malt, the best part of this. Nice malty finish.

16 oz can poured, picked up at Hop and Hound. A bit of an unexpected style to see make it's way into the Matchless can rotation, but I'm intrigued. A clean and shiny orange pour. A lasting foam head. Plenty of rich caramel malts, battled by a unique bitterness. Has a soft spice to it. A bit of a sipper for me. Flavor is interesting for sure. Sweet and spicy caramel malt, if I were to just sum it up in a sentence. A fun beer to mix into a day of outdoor drinkin.

16 oz can poured. A clean and clear shiny golden color with active carb and a fading foam head. A bit of a sweet aroma to this, steady grains and a light alcohol, polish like. Rich grain. Lots of straw. Has strong impressions, or at least the booze flavor stands out. Refreshing enough for what it is. This is good, but less of something I reach for unless the sun is really cooking us outside. In that case, I'd still rather reach for most other products from this incredible brewery. Decent pale lager here.

Not much of an American style IPA as there is almost no sign of Aroma or flavor hops. The aromas I pick up our just ale with a little bit of mosquito repellent. Flavors are a nondescript ale. Good body and a slightly warming bittersweet finish. Kind of a yawner. Glad I only have one of these.

Trainwreck of dank bitterness, sweet overdose, all making for something not too easy to drink.
