Bottle. Pours a mostly clear orange hue with a large white head. A big sweet citrus nose. Rich, orange peel, mango, lots of base earthy malts. Very good.

Bottle. Pours a almost pitch black hue with a tan head. A big roast and chocolate nose. Rich, smooth, lots of roast, chocolate malts, some licorice. Very good.

Session’s Brewery Pon-Gashi Lager 5% Nice gold with a wispy white foam and a mild sweet aroma (pon-gashi?) the taste is sweet but somewhat generic. It feels like an omiyage beer but a decent one. Among the cheapest Hiroshima beers (500¥) but ok and I’d try other beers from this brewery.

Bottle. A lager using puffed rice and lemon. Nose is lemony, with sweet rice crispies, biscuits, slightly candy-ish and a bit buttery. Rather sweet, lemony, creamy with slight notes of vanilla and butter and a bitter, slightly rough finish. Not bad.

Jet brown with a rich light brown head. Intense roast and some coffee notes. Dark chocolate, nice bitterness and a long roasty finish. Solid.

Clear gold with a rich white head. Tropical fruity notes and a bit of vomit, sweet and fruity with a long finish. Too fruity and too sticky.

Clearish copper with a rich white head. Light malts and woody hops. Woody and earthy with some caramel. Bitter finish. English style.

Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Intense lemon. Lemon peel and a nice long citrus finish. Lemon isn’t too harsh or artificial.

Tap at Umineko. Dark amber, cloudy. Rich malt nose, caramel, chocolate. Malt caramel flavor, toffee and some citrus from the hops and resins too. More like a hoppy brown ale. Very old school. Ok.
