Reloy (Leroy) 5.5% on tap at Devin in Umeda. A brown ale made with honey. On tap at Craft Beer Dev in 家. Pouring a very dark brown with a thick head similar to the Cwtch. The aroma is malty, yeasty fruit & light nuts - OK. Light bodied verging on thin with an odd prickly carbonation. The taste is malty citrus and biscuits with a hint of honey sweetness in the finish. OK.

Tap at the Gifu Beer Matsuri 2015. This much be a new beer, without a fun name yet. Nose is dry, crackery malts and some citrus hops. More hops in the flavor, grapefruit, lemon, plus crackers and just a light sweetness. Crisp and very drinkable. Dry hop it more and it would be perfect.

Tap at the Gifu Beer Matsuri 2015. Nose of caramel, chocolate, minerals, earthy hops. Malt has a bit of roughness, but caramel and chocolate coming through and earthy hops. Could be a touch fuller, but decent brown ale.

Tap at Beer Fes Osaka 2015. Sweet malt, some caramel, earthy hops, a bit of licorice. Malt feels a bit extract-like. Decent, not as good as the red.

On tap at GJBF Osaka 2015. Ale Capone was their first brew, it’s got a nice soft chocolate malt nose with some Nelson Sauvin character to it. Solid malt flavor with floral peppery hops. Quite good.

On tap at GJBF Osaka 2015. Okazaki-Jo, pours a light gold with a foamy white head. Bizarre nose, green, egg, smoke, bacon? Dry bodied, apparently all beers are keg conditioned. The taste is green, prickly bitterness and lightly sweet but a touch soapy. Weird.
