About
At Hudson Valley Brewery, we like to think of our beer as the product of a wide variety of influences. Like the Hudson Valley itself, we believe the beers we create stand somewhere between the rural and the urban, the traditional and the modern, the rustic and the industrial. Our brewing techniques are inspired by the brewing practices of traditional European breweries as well as the more aggressive, experimental practices of American breweries. We brew the beer we love to drink, which like the Hudson Valley itself, is always changing.

Draft at RnH-West. Murky dark yellow. Thin white head, heavy lace. Melon, mint, and a hint of Lysol. Herbal and resiny notes too. Almost soapy. A little on the dry side. Something feels odd too me that I can’t place - perhaps the soap? Soft feel. Bit of a boozy thing. Okay. Generally, I enjoy their stuff, but this isn’t my favorite.

Thanks Carrigan for sharing the crowler! Poured into a snifter showing hazy unfiltered light cherry red with white foam lacing. The nose is vanilla forward with strawberries. The palate is light bodied and lightly carbonated. Lightly tart with a very light vanilla background but it is dry throughout with no sweetness.

Thanks Carrigan for sharing the growler! Poured into a snifter showing hazy papaya yellow with clean white foam lacing. The nose shows a lot of papaya, light notes of dank cannabis, and a strong bed of NE style malt. The palate is highly carbonated and medium bodied. Strong flavors of papaya with a strong NE style malt backbone and a clean minty mouthfeel with hints of cannabis followed by a light bitterness on the finish.
