Can to snifter.
Appearance: burnt yellow haziness with a finger's worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: lime tangy to tart tones; lemon tartness, sly funky to sour tones; subtle wheat far down in there
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a fair tart to funky character initially then brings in a light sour for balance then an even lighter tone of sweet draws in underneath that; finishes semi-dry with lemons, limes, and subtle wheat
Texture: light to medium bodied, between sessionable and being a sipper (truly hard to determine this) as plenty of tart, sour and some bitter hop tones seem to want pound the tongue into submission but it ends up showing a little bit of mercy and becomes somewhat even keeled
Overall: another really nicely done Sour IPA by Hudson Valley!

Appearance: red color with a two finger pink foamy head which dissipated slowly to leave some light lace
Aroma: tart and tangy red currants up front with an ease of some citrusy and piney sweet hoppy scents sliding in underneath, subtle sour-ish wheaty tones in there too
Flavor: pretty much copies the aromas to a fair sweet to bitter to tangy and tart quality: finishes mostly with the red currants and a sly hint of citrusy hops
Texture: medium bodied, this is a sipper in so many different ways; some smoothness then the sour tones of some wheat fist bump the tart and tangy to seem to lay down the law of assertiveness on the tongue - yes, there's some good pucker here but I say a good pucker
Overall: yes, this is the Sour IPA I was looking for.

Aroma: lemony to grapefruity hops up front with some light sweet wheat which displays a bit of tart qualities; subtle freshly cut grass further underneath
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine bitter to sweet to tart quality initially then allows a decent sour character to roll in underneath; finishes lemony, semi-bitter and a little bit of tart
Texture: light to medium bodied; leaning to being sessionable; light smoothness but also some of the hops seem to add a bit of bitter assertiveness
Overall: pretty good as a tart IPA with a little bit of sour trying to show a little bit of strength. I'd still come back to this one.

Appearance: bright yellow color with some transparency; and the white foamy and fizzy head zipped out of there quicker than a jackrabbit on a date, no lace
Aroma: floral, subtle mango and an even lighter piney note then some sweet grass and/or hay;
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fair sweet fruity to sweet floral and grassy vibe; finishes dry through semi-floral, sweet grassy and a kiss of mango
Texture: light to medium bodied, somewhat sessionable; light smoothness and a rolling dryness along the tongue
Overall: not a bad version of a saison. I think I could come back to this and perhaps a ton of water before and after consumption.

Appearance: dark amber to maroon color with a two finger white foamy head which took it's time to dissipate then once it did subtle sliding lace appeared
Aroma: blueberry tart and sweet character, lemon sweet and tart character; some citrusy hops and some lactose
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine tart to sweet to creamy sweet and colorful hoppy quality; finishes blueberry, lemony and creamy
Texture: medium bodied, sessionable; good level of smoothness with the lactose smoothing out any excessive tart or sour tones trying to be semi-assertive
Overall: leave it to Hudson Valley to do this one very nicely without the cream/lactose note to be invasive.

On tap at Ambasada, Zagreb. Shared with Prof. Prezbelewsky. Unclear pinkish colour, small lasting off-white head. Aroma is blueberry cake and dark fruit candy. Hints of citrus, blood orange. Flavour is moderately fruity, tart dark fruit, blackberry and black cherry. Some candy, smooth, some sweetness, moderate tartness, sour cherry and lemon. Soft texture. Finishes medium dry.

A4 draught, 2/8/26.
Peppery, juicy berry with a hint of coconut and blueberry character. No real hop of which to speak. Lactose/lactic acid is minimal.
Tart and juicy with peppery, earthy, almost umami-like soy and blueberry. Soft, lightly creamy, lightly watery. Good juiciness up front but never becoming sweet or lactose-heavy. Refreshing tartness is balanced. Again, not really sure why they call these sour IPAs instead of fruited dours but whatever, not a big deal.

Appearance: thick pink to violet in color with a one finger white foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: blackberries, tangerine to orangey/citrusy tones; light vanilla and some milk sugar
Flavor: blends in all the prior noted aromas to a semi-sweet to tart fruity to smooth creamy toned character; finishes with the coconut and blackberries
Texture: medium bodied, good as a sipper; fairly smooth and creamy along the tongue with subtle sour to tart abrasion ever so slightly
Overall: pretty good pastry sour ale I could have again, possibly as a dessert beer.
