Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark black color with a medium sized foamy darkish brown head that lingered and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was roasty malts, Baker’s chocolate, vanilla and a bit of peanut. The flavor was roasty and dryish with a faint nutty presence, moderate Baker’s chocolate, vanilla and hints of coffee and wood. Long dry and roasty finish with lingering nut and chocolate. Moderately full bodied and smooth. Interesting.

22oz bottle, thanks Huhzubendah! Poured a dark color without much of a head - perhaps a wispy brown color at best. Aroma is coffee with plenty of roasted and chocolate notes. This is pretty good! Touch of bitterness in the finish like a cup of coffee.

Bottle courtesy of Huhzubendah, thank you sir! Completely black color, thick brown head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of freshly roasted and brewed coffee. Taste is Italian coffee soda. Tasty if you like coffee, and it still has some beer characteristics.

Sampled from bottle. Poured a dark brown color with a small tan head. Aroma is some chocolate, mint is pretty noticeable. Sweet malt character, dark chocolate, mint. A little gimmicky, but enjoyable for exactly what it is.

22 ounce bottle. Pours an opague black color with a very large rocky brown head. Minty chocolate malt aroma. Tangy chocolate mint flavor dominates the palate. Notes of bittersweet chocolate and espresso. Overall, rather dry in character, little complexity and the obvious mint flavor make this an average stout. Could have used a little more malt to add some complexity.

Dark with a brown head. Aroma is like cocoa puffs, light peanut butter, chocolate, light roasted malts. When I had a pint of this on draught the peanut butter was much stronger. This has been in a growler for about 10 days (sealed, refrigerated) and the peanut butter has faded while the cocoa puff aroma has really come on. Full bodied. Very tasty, but much like the aroma, the flavor has morphed from peanut butter to much more cocoa puffs. I liked the PB on the fresh version but must say that the cocoa puff flavor is quite enjoyable, too. Fun beer.
