A new beer to me from the people at Tupps. The 12 oz can came was bought at the craft beer store in Odessa with an apparent b/o/d of 12/20/19. I'm using my Great Heights snifter for this tasting. I see an opaque, straw yellow body with a top of totally white foam. I lift for a sniff, it is a pleasant citrus and grain greeting me. And the drink following, citrus and juice and all that, grassy with a decent hoppy presence. Pleasant with little impact.

Another Tupps brew to sample, this one came to me recently from The Cellar in Odessa. I open the 12 oz can and tilt into my New Belgium globe glass. It arrives a gold-leaning, orange liquid with a strong, pure-white head. The scent is lightly pine and tangerine. The taste supports that, orange, lemon, more of the pine, a bit of sweetness and a moderate bitterness concluding. Decent but not extraordinary.

I had not heard of Tupps brewery until purchasing a six pack of its IPA. I saw on the label that Mosaic hops is used in the recipe so I was sold. Need to point out that this can states 7.1% ABV on the label too. I’m using a snifter from another Texas brewery, ABGB, for the pour. The body is a semi-transparent yellow-gold with a respectable, almost white head. The scent is light citrus, grass and a hint of a possible sweetness. A decent taste, lemon, lime, some pine and tropical fruit. Not breaking any doors down here but no real complaints either.

Mango and green onion. Passion fruit. Murky orange pour. Hop tang finish with some booze, caramel. Good balance for style, and enough front heavy fruit to make it worth it. Can thanks to my wife.
