In a tasting flight at Watering Hole. Big banana cream pie nose with some toasted marshmallow and light clove and caramel. More caramel and light chocolate on the palate. Starts off slightly sweet and coats the palate, but finishes quick with good hop bitterness. Really solid take on a weizen bock. Tap at Keyaki Spring 2015. Estery nose, peaches, oranges. rich and malty, with full body and nice fruit flavors. Well put together. Best beer yet from them.

Tap at Keyaki Spring 2015. Hazy orange-amber with lace. Nice citrus nose, orange, grapefruit, a bit of caramel and a touch of pine. Light, fruity, crisp. High drinkability, though the finish is a bit astringent.

Tap at Keyaki Spring 2015. Nose is banana, wheat, lots of cloves. Nice tanginess in the flavor with a huge amount of spicy cloves, a bit too much actually. Crisp, not heavy. Drinkable.

Tap at Keyaki Spring 2015. Fruity, biscuity nose, decent malt. cloudy gold with a fine head. Rich and sweet, nice biscuits, light hop but ok bitterness. Decent. Not lagered enough to be a real pils, but fresh and fruity.

Draught at the Yokohama GJBF 2012. Very pretty orangish-amber, shiny, glowing. Nose is faint, but a bit of rice, ancient rice I suppose, mizuame, caramel. Flavor starts sweet then goes a bit dry, grainy, a little caramel. Not so great but not terrible.

Grassy sour lemon nose. Med-full malty sour mouth with some breadiness. Well balanced, light hop character. Midly bitter finish.

Big thick white head. Cloves, bananas, yeasty bubblegum nose. Pretty nice stuff for being 6 months overdue. Med full mouth with lots of bananas. I would love to try fresh from the brewery.
