Nice! Lots of green apple, sour nerds, great stuff. Good tartness, wine elements from champagne yeast. Like it a lot!

750 ml bottle, from Furusato Nozei. Sweet apple, dust, minerals, bit of caramel in the nis. Very cloudy dull gold, lace. Nicely sweet apples, minerals, lemon, medium tannins. Finishes semi-sweet but not cloying, very fruity, spritzy, light on the tongue. More simple than the best French cidres, but well done. A bit too much like apple juice, though delicious.

eautiful medium pink color. The nose is so delicate, modestly sweet, massive cherry, apple jam, apple brandy. Big cherry, apple jam, smooth, slight tart, nice sweet mouth. So well balanced. Perfectly balanced. Lingering cherry and apples in the finish. Amazing. Hands down the best cidre I’ve had in Japan

750 ml bottle from the brewery. Pale yellow, nice, fine carbonation going to a persistent lace. Nose of sharp apples, skin, citrus, a bit of baked sweet apples too. Flavor reminiscent of Granny Smith, green apple skin, fresh fruit, great tart / sweet balance and a little bite of alcohol. Very nicely done carbonation is persistent but soft, champagne-like but not at all gassy. This is very nice. Not sweet like a French doux, not at all, and very nicely sharp with only a bit of tannin coming out in a prickly finish. Not sure what they have done with the yeast here, but it works very nice, and while minerally avoids that over-dry dustiness that comes out in the brut.

2016 vintage. 750 corked and caged bottle. Dry nose, white grape / wine, mineral, apple, skin. Hazy pale go,d, effervescent. Lightly tart flavor, dry, with lemon, chalk, reminds me of Savignon Blanc. Quite persistently bubbly. Light tannin, medium acidity. Somewhat simple dryness but good.
