From a bomber bottle, bright white stuff on top of the white-yellow stuff called body, lots of clear-white things called bubbles, meh. Huge cloying sugar sweetness on this like the bad fruit beer experiments from Belgium (not the good ones... the good ones are, well, good). Apple syrup aroma; like that one bottle I bought in Paris some years ago that was just carbonated apple juice. Strawberry you say though. Flavour is more balanced - strawberry comes through, well balanced with the wheat, but I can’t say that the two work well with each other. It’s like the flavour profiles were well done but the end result, well, just isn’t that interesting. But it did grow on me and now that I’m at the end of this bomber I find the balance to be pretty good... that initial aroma is the problem. Not a bad fruit beer, smarts on subtlety which is something I do appreciate.

Minimal head, champagne-like light yellow body with heavy carbonation. Strong floral hops on the nose, peaches, grapefruit especially. Good flowery air freshener kind of flavour, reminds me of some of the more fun lambic experiments in Belgium. Would have preferred a better finish, just comes across as muddy. Interesting elements but they are not all cooperating together.

On tap. Pours an orange amber with light head. Aromas and flavors of tart wine gums, tropical fruit and oranges. Seems sharp and thin without much of a malt base. Nice enough but very much a kettle sour.

Bottle. Hazy, blonde, thin head. Lots of pineapple and lychee hop aromas, maybe some citrus. Has a lot of orange, lychee, and a mellow fruity hop. Moderate bitterness for style, a lot of chewy rye. Balanced example though nothing particularly special.

Kind of a light minimal density bright white head, yellowing body with aluminum tinge and medium carbonation. Lots of hops on the nose, sweet hops, grapefruit, fresh lemons and all the rest, missing a good hint of the rye on the nose though. Flavour is good, rye keeps the fruity hops grounded and provides a crisp dry finish. Tasted at room temperature. Good drinkability here, sessionable even.

Ooh I do loves me a sour, found this one down by the Buddhist temple in Richmond. Modest head, lots of carbonation, yellowing body, no funk at all; a very refined lager-like sourness with hints of citrus. Very pure, a very simple aroma and appearance. Flavour has some positive sour notes, good crisp lip-sucker, but missing any funk or complexity. Dry finish. Simple and reasonably drinkable but lacking in any personality... hmm, kinda like Richmond itself.

650mL bottle, pours black with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of earthiness, roasted malt, and aggressive piney hops. Flavour is heavily roasted and hoppy, with big roasted malt, abrasive hops, some earthiness and dry cocoa. Very bitter and roasted. Messy but a lovely brutal beer.

Poured from 650mL bottle. Cloudy pale white-ish yellow with very slight pink tinge and white head. Creamy milky strawberry with yeasty wit and coriander. Blended surprisingly well.

Hazy golden color, small head. Pungent aroma, tropical fruits, passion fruit, calamansi, citrus. Dry, sour, with puckering loads of citrus peel, pink grapefruit in the finish.

Bit hazy, light tan. The aroma is assertively melony, some mango. Bitter, mango, with grapefruity hop, Really bright and delicious, all the massive hop, moderate bitterness and light sourness that I like in this type of beer.
