Draught at Rogue Kitchen & Wetbar (Waterfront) and Lions Pub, Vancouver
Cloudy amber color, vaguely reddish, with compact head. The aroma starts with some malt and Saison yeast, then a mild fruity note. Round mouthfeel; the rye flavor is evident, it has a lot of character, it blends well with the peppery yeast note, with the moderate residual sweetness, and the orangey hop fruitiness; hints of banana; quite high bitterness level, with a good amount of hop resins in the final. The carbonation is too much.
Heavy but nice.

Hazy amber color with creamy persistent head. The aroma is nice, fruity, fresh, jammy. Good body strength; smooth mouthfeel; the malt and caramel flavor unfortunately takes a mild earthy (soil and dust) character; moderate sweetness; quite strong bitterness, with some low level hop resin.
The Belgian side is not pronounced, and this may be a food thing.
Not a bad beer, but it doesn’t deliver the freshness that it should have; it needs some tuning; for the moment it’s just a pack of ingredients.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a hazy golden copper with a small beige head. Aroma and flavour of Belgian yeast, resinous hops and candied sugar. Finishes sweet and yeasty. Well-done hybrid that balances well between the Belgian yeast, hops and sweet malt backing. Decent beer.

On tap at the Alibi Room for the 400th beer list event, pours a clear orange with a creamy white head. Aroma of piney, citrus hops, English malts, crackers. Flavour of English hops, crackery malts, and some faint butterscotch notes. Well-balanced with all flavours working in harmony. Good solid IPA.

Draught at St. Augustine, Vancouver
Cloudy amber color with small creamy head. Nice aroma, fruity, with a sweet background, followed by a light hop sweaty trace. Round mouthfeel, good flavor of malt caramel and toffee together, very sweet for an IPA, followed by a very good hopping, plenty of fruits, tangerines, then almonds and some piney resins; long and balanced final, with accent on the sweet caramel.
A bit too sweet, but exceptionally good and fresh in any case.
