@Alibi. Hazy, light amber colour. Sort of a mild, dull, sour nose with vague cherry. On the palate, more of a candyish cherry. Light body. Some phenolic off-notes. Yeah, I caught those band-aids. Anyway, not one of their better beers.

On tap at 12 Kings, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out Belgian yeast, some candied sugar, and light booze. Flavour is lightly sweet, with Belgian yeast, candied sugar and esters. Light booze in there, with a moderately sweet, estery finish. Not too sweet and a nice expression of the Belgian yeast. Very solid and reasonably authentic for a local tripel.

Hazy, straw colour, medium head. Aroma is quite estery, lending notes of guava, banana and pear...smells like sticky sweet, too. On the palate it's a bit more balanced, still pretty estery but the malt sweetness is cleaner with a shot of balancing alcohol. Perfumey and a bit candyish, so far from perfect, and that's too bad because drier and cleaner would make for a better beer.

On tap Pours a full amber with moderate head Aromas of creamy banana, mashed stoned fruit, and wheaty malts. Flavors follow same though more fried banana, white pepper and fruity esters. Very Dageraad but quite full and relatively refined. Nice

750 ml bottle. Pours a hazy yellow/gold with full head. Aromas of limes, wheat, and potpourri. Flavors of same, almost perfumey, with a bit of additional white pepper and coriander. Nice.

Draught at the brewery
Cloudy blond color with generous head. Delicate spicy aroma, coriander, a bit soapy, farty. A bit more residual sweetness than average Belgian Tripel, spicy but clean and estery, flowery, I can’t find the true Belgian yeast character, and the final presents mild vegetable notes (celery). The alcohol is too noticeable.
Nice beer, not truly Belgian, not Dageraad best work.

Bottle, Legacy. Light brown, medium head. Dark fruits. Toffee malts. Not bad. Sweet, bit light in the body. The fruits are muted though.

Cloudy amber color with compact persistent head. Strong spicy and estery yeast aroma. Too much carbonation, some astringent spicy yeast, and more astringency in the final.
Unbalanced and lacking depth.

Opaque and quite pale. On the nose it’s yeasty, bit herbal/floral, but the yeast is rather prominent. Same on the palate...peppery but very yeasty, touch of sweetness. To me, this could benefit from another week just to mellow the yeastiness out a touch.

Muddy light amber-brown. Med head. On the nose, a fair bit of pedio, and other yeastiness. And a thin body with some tart dark fruitiness. Ok, not great.
