On tap at 12 Kings, pours a deep dark amber brown with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out a strange marzipan quality, with very strange Coca Cola notes. Flavour isn't as cola like, with earthy yeast upfront, but then the cola definitely does hit. Utterly strange how this turned out. Not very convincing as a dark saison but it's alright.

Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Cloudy, even murky, brown color. The aroma is dirty, a bit dusty, stale pond water. Dry mouthfeel; dirty malts, stale, the yeast adds a mild but unpleasant vegetable component, and the fennel adds a light anise touch to aroma and flavor that personally I don’t think can improve any beer.
Mildly unpleasant.

650ml bottle from the brewery. Pours a hazy straw golden with a strong white head. Aroma is spices, Belgian yeasts. Taste is pretty the same with noticable freshness from wet hops. Good Belgian Blonde.

On tap at the brewery. Spicy and floral hoppy stuff. It is slightly harsh and bitter, but quite good though.

Draft, Boxcar. Hazy tan. Medium head. Aroma has a nice yeastiness that kicks off a delicate fruity note. This has a mellow caramel note, biscuity, malt character, subtle earthy hops. Nice balance.

Draft - Loght Woody notes with caramel. Clear gold with a decent white head. Touch of yeast, esters and a dry finish. Not much going on.

Has a heavy unnatural carbonation and huge head, much too large and feisty, but has a weird foaminess to it. Hoppy cheap lager-like aroma, I can already tell that this ain’t no old -world style saison. Flavour has very slight weak funk, yeast notes, but comes off with little else to keep one interested. This just seems to be a total miss, and not a "saison" I’d look for again.
