On tap at the Alibi Room, pours an opaque orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out prominent Belgian yeast, caramel and a dry hoppiness. Flavour is well-balanced, with Belgian yeast and dry caramel bready malt. Not the most complex beer, but everything is balanced well and there is nothing wrong with it. Solid stuff.

Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver, 600th Menu Party
Cloudy orange-amber color. Aroma of fruits (peach...), pond water, some Belgian yeast; strange but nice. Good body, lean, moderately sweet, with a good work both with the malt and the yeast, more fruity than the average American/Belgian beer, but also more character, quite Belgian; good bitterness level. Perfectly balanced; multi-layered.
Excellent.

Draft - Sweet and malty, tamarind and some stone fruit. Cloudy copper with a decent white head. Sweet stone fruit, plums and some yeasty notes. Light grains with some grass. Tastes like an odd tripple, but decent.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Cloudy dark amber color. Mild, mellow aroma of caramel with light fruity esters. Good body strength, without being excessive; the malt and caramel flavor is there, fat, with moderate sweetness; hidden, there is some yeast component, in a positive way; the alcohol is perceived too much; the bitterness is more than the average Belgian beer.
Very good, but it lacks of dimensions.

Bottle - Dark sugars, some light plum and raisin. Deep dark brown copper with a decent beige head. Boozy dark sugar, raisin and some dark fruit with some heat on the throat. Lots of heat in the finish, with throws it way off. Not bad, but all I will remember is my throat burning.

Dark amber and hazy. Has a slight overripe plum character, with a hint of appley, fruity note. Fairly strong alcohol, some stewed fruits and a touch of caramel. Note my favourite style to begin with, and even Dageraad couldn’t make me want more of it.

Hazy straw. Light yeasty and slightly doughy pale. Light coriander spice. Thick head. Dry, coriander, dry hop. Very sessionable, with great pear notes and lots of subtlety.

Tap at drakes. Slightly stuffy aroma. Light hazy pale golden, white lace. Medium light body. Dry citric fruity body, light apple and granateapple flavor. Easy drinkable, not super exiting.

On tap. Pours a hazy reddish brown withoderate foamy head. Not much on the nose; light aromas of bready malts, copper and raisins. Flavors of sweet doughy malts, creamy yeast, raisins/prunes, and a bit of tobacco. Seems a bit too fat and malty for a quad, though ABV is well hidden. A good start for first iteration - looking forward to trying again in a year.

650mL bottle, pours a cloudy burgundy with a small white head. Nose is very floral, with dark fruits, a vinous quality, and light toffee. Flavour is quite perfumey upfront, with light vinous notes and light caramel. Quite dry and perfumey - this is a bit off the mark. Not like a usual quad, less complex and not overly thrilling overall. It's okay.
