On tap at Steel & Oak, pours a hazy golden yellow with a medium white head. Nose is very light, with floral hops and biscuity malt. Flavour is fairly light but well-balanced, with floral hops, biscuity malt, and a lightly tart citrus component. Quite interesting for the style - slightly off-kilter in the subtlest of ways. Good stuff.

Cloudy light amber color with creamy head. Like a Pale Ale, not much ESB, with light yeasty aroma, some vegetables bitterness, strong bitterness, light papery malts, yeasty final.

Cloudy red-copper color with small head. Mild aroma of yeast and caramel. Round mouthfeel; strong caramel flavor, strong bitterness and strong yeast character; lightly dusty in the final; it’s slightly sweeter and more fruity/estery than a British ESB, but still a good beer.

Light amber color, hazy, with creamy head. It has a strong cereals character, husks, light vegetable bitterness, and not the grassy presence of the first time I tried it.

Hazy amber color with compact head. Delicate aroma of malt and cereals. Nice clean cereally malt flavor, with an accent of straws; correct bitterness with a light grassy touch. The final is a bit dry, astringent and just too bitter.

Cloudy blond color with orange hue; small compact head. Overall it’s a modest Hefe, with not much to tell, with to much carbonation, some bread, a hint of smoke, light acidity, and dry finish.

Cloudy. The aroma has a lot of bubblegum, and some smoke. Sweet taste, touch of tartness, wheaty and with light smoke, and a banana note as well.

Hazy amber-tan. Frothy head. Somewhat fruity hop nose, bit yeasty, lots of hearty bitterness. Fruity character, the malts are a bit husky and the beer is definitely too yeasty.

Hazy amber. Thick head. The aroma is slightly lemony, herbal hop and a bit yeasty. Herbal up front, quite yeasty, lots of bitterness, finishes balanced, maybe a touch of phenol and certainly the yeast is a bit much for any sort of lager, even an unfiltered one.
