Amber-brown and hazy. Bubbly. Sweet, light fruity character, soft body, malts are lightly sugary.

Botella. Dark brown. Thin head. Fruity, figgy, molasses sort of aroma. I should have been less surprised, since all S&O impies lean English-style. Some toasty demerara here, too. Some burnt molasses and charred fruitcake notes to this. Plenty of alcohol in the finish.

Murky blond colour, pale. There is some tropical fruit aroma; light body, it's a bit chalky, too dry, the hop may have some quality, but it doesn't express its best without sugars; and so, also the finish is a bit abrasive, pithy; not very inspired.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours black with a small tan head. Nose is full of raspberry, light cocoa and a touch of lactose. Flavour is full of raspberries, cocoa and a touch of sweetness. Nice combo of berries and cocoa. Good stuff.

Poured from the tap. Hazed gold with small white head. Light Passionfruit and lime with a hint of lemon. The generic malt backing adds a boring element that lacks body. Average.

Can from Jak's Parkcrest, Burnaby
Murky blond colour, medium sized head, it looks like egg whites. The arom ais nice, mix of tropical fruits, some zest too. Good body strength, luckily it's not too dry, some of that sugar helps to make the chalk a bit more palatable, but it's still there; on the other side, the hopping is good, expressing qualities, fruits, mostly bitter orange, grapefruit, and light dank touch. Some astringency in the finish, and mild pith.
Dirty but still good, overall.

473mL can, pours a clear copper golden with a medium off-white head. Aroma is rather laid back for the style, with gentle piney hops, some resins, and bready malt. Flavour is assertive, with piney hops, some earthiness, a bit of fungal notes, some gentle metallic notes, and a bready malt base. Low on the sweetness, moderately bitter, with a tinge of that metallic character on the finish. Certainly better than the majority of hazies out there, but the hops could be better expressed. Decent.

Poured from 473mL can (canned 21 May 2022). Clear bright blonde with full white head. Oak, rustic, light bugs, decent while having room for improvement.
