Just labelled "WInter Golden" (Feb 2016) and I’m not really sure if this is something else or not. Golden colour. Bland sweet pale malts and vague phenols. Kinda grainy.

At the brewery as "Irish Stout". Very dark brown. Bubbly head. Light roasty nose. Toasty, thin character but with a moderate bitterness and a vague chocolatey finish.

Golden dark brown with a bubbly head. Sweet caramel taste and low bitterness. A bit better malt development but otherwise competing with macro darks.

If this is the same as what served at Central City’s Winter Cask festival: On tap. Pours a very dark brown with light foamy head. Aromas of light bourbon and brown sugar. Flavors of watery grainy bourbon and sweet malts.

"Casks for Kwantlen" event, at BRB, Richmond
Black color with generous tan head. The bourbon is delicate, more evident in the aroma; the mouthfeel is smooth, and more coffee appears. Clean, very pleasant.

On tap at Red Truck, pours a deep dark reddish brown with a medium tan head. Aroma brings out considerable fruitiness from the cherries, with a bit of a metallic undertone. Flavour is along the same lines, featuring lots of black cherries and unfortunate metallic qualities. Not offensive but it's not clean at all. Needs lots of work.

Draught at the brewery taproom
Black color with medium sized tan head. Not too dry, and with a food body structure; the flavor plays well with dark malts and some chocolate, avoiding heavy roasted notes, while the light trace of butter in the aroma even seems well placed; maybe a light acidity in the final could be the trace left by an otherwise unthought cherry.
I’m liking it. Semi sweet Porter

Pinkish-amber, thin head, raspberry nose, and the taste is a bit old school, but the raspberry isn’t sweet, indeed for an old school fruit beer the balance is great.

Slightly hazy, bubbly thin head. Aroma is quite fruity-piney with lots of hop. On the palate, lots of old school toasty character....session red ale, basically, with light pear esters.

Draught at the brewery; 16 oz
Dark chestnut color with medium sized beige head. The aroma of dark malts and caramel is flowery and quite German. Dry mouthfeel, a bit weak; the caramel flavor is very simple, ordinary bitterness.
Overall, balanced and clean.
