From Blackfish Liquor in Gibsons. This has a light colour with a bit of haze. The aroma is lightly fruity hops. On the palate, it's pretty light, touch of malt, quite effervescent. Dry, some herbal hops. Not much malts. Finishes quite dry, but with some flavour and complexity, too. This seems to really hit the mark for what you'd think a brut IPA would be. I like this one.

750mL bottle, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out bright Belgian yeast, crisp biscuity malt and gentle hopping. Flavour is very champagne-y, with lots of yeasty effervescence, crisp crackery malt, and some gentle hopping underneath. Highly carbonated, with little hop character detectable. Very nice for what it is.

Grapefruit hops. Clear gold with a decent white head. Bitter grapefruit peel and some pine with a bitter finish. Very old school.

On tap. Pours a clear orange-brown with a medium, creamy, long lasting, tan head that leaves curtains of lace. Sweet aroma of bready malt, caramel, raspberry, orange and sugar. Sweet flavour of grainy wheat malt, light roast, raspberry, orange peel and cinnamon in a dry finish. Light body with a thin, watery texture and average carbonation. Meh.

On tap at The Winking Judge, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out some diacetyl, with light citrus hops and grassy herbal notes. Flavour is quite citrusy, with floral notes, and biscuity malt. A bit of diacetyl. Meh.
