Cloudy golden color. It's a random American interpretation of Belgian beers, with overwhelming barrel, bourbon, and booze. It has no true beer character.

750mL bottle, pours a hazy copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of bourbon upfront, with Belgian yeast and light candied sugar. Flavour is along the same lines, with candied sugar, Belgian yeast and a touch of bourbon. Didn't think this would be good, but it works. Solid.

A pour from the bottle on Black Christmas V. Pours a dirty golden with a weak head. Aroma is bourbon and some sweet-sour fruits. Similar taste. Fairly good.

On tap at 33 Acres, pours a cloudy golden blonde with a medium white head. Aroma brings out piney hops, some resins, some dank herbal notes and biscuity malt. Flavour follows accordingly, with lots of piney hops, light dank notes, and biscuity malt. This is really nicely balanced - piney hops and a dry biscuity finish. Really good.

Hazy golden color with creamy head. Very nice aroma of fruity hops, mango, papaya, apricot jam. Good body structure, it has just a small amount of residual sugars, delicate crackery malt backbone, and a juicy, fruity, resiny hopping; the final is sweeter, with some weed. It has the juiciness of a NE IPA and the bitterness and resins of a West Coast IPA.

Dark amber color with creamy beige head. Mild aroma of caramel, hint of resiny hops, but also an earthy, swampy feel. Good body strength, good caramel flavor, with fruity esters and some resiny hops.
