16 oz. can in a trade with tfontana, thanks Tom! From the brewery. Born on date: 09/16/20. Aroma is apricot, peach-ish, malt. Flavor is popping with bold citrus. Tangelo, tangerine, mandarin orange. The texture is nicely juicy. Really enjoyable and proper for the style!

Can (9/21/20) pour from the brewery. Appearance is opaque orange with nice sparkle at some edges of the glass, absent at others; finger-width white foamy head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is strong orange and peach. Taste is even stronger orange and peach(!) with a bit of cream. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with thick texture, lively carbonation and finish as taste with low bitterness. Overall, really strong aroma and flavor--very juicy! Over carbonation dominates the experience a bit. With small tweaks this would be REALLY fantastic.

Growler. Dark brown. Cocoa nose, bit of coffee. Simple, light chocolate, bit creamy, cafe au lait. Somewhat thin. Decent.

Growler. Cloudy orange golden, huge, airy head. Tangerine and orange nose, spicy yeast, bredy malt. Lemony, orange, peppery, nice balance, real Belgian feel, biscuts, not sweet. Peppery, nicely bitter finish. Full, smooth. Very nice.

Dark mahogany, high clarity with ruby accents and a small, dark beige head showing moderate retention.
Roast, raisin, caramel and a strong bready malt note all signify a pretty typical brown ale. Some light, leafy, mildly citric hops fail to break through much of the malt and the beer seems clean enough with no alcohol noted.
Quite malty, with a medium sweetness, moderate attenuation, no alcohol, low bitterness and a slight lack of malt suppleness for texture with lots of bread, light roast and nuttiness building up. Moderate specialty malt acidity lingers with caramel and raisin-like sweetness.
