Bottle. I suppose it contains persimmon, but it comes across simply as a stout. Nose is chocolate, or more like cocoa, and some coffee and unpleasant celery. Dry flavor, cocoa, coffee, and a bit of vegetable. Light fruitiness is not particularly reminiscent of persimmon. Body ok. Not bad, but flat and a bit dead.

Bottle kindly shared by TimM. Ass-looking mud, orange-brown, flat. Nose is yuzu, honey, and biscuits. Decent creamy yuzu flavor with nectarine and stone fruit and biscuity malt. Sweet but then becomes ridiculously astringent in the finish, like citrus rind or pith even. Almost flat. Weird one.
