Grasiger, dumpf bitterer Beginn. Minimal blumig, wässrig bitter, geringfügig Zitrus, dann wässrig werdend. Muss nicht sein. 11/8/8/7/10/7

Trocken hopfiger, deutlich bitterer Beginn. Trocken bleibend, das Hopfenaroma ist leider schnell verschwunden. Wenig grasig, mittellanger Abgang. Okay. 9/8/8/8/10/8

0.33 l bottle from 'NRW Braumanufaktur', best before March 2021. Almost clear, amber with a thin, frothy, stable, white head. Sweetish, slightly sourish, gently fruity aroma of rhubarb, light lemon peel, a touch of strawberry and hints of grains. Gently sweet, a little sourish, moderately fruity taste of rhubarb, grains, some straw and a touch of overripe lemon, followed by a short, minimally tart, slightly dry finish. Medium body, smooth, minimally astringent and gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Pleasant, very well-balanced Ale, one of the most convincing flavoured Pale Ales from this brewery. The rhubarb just adds a tad of acidity which makes it a little more interesting than usual.

0.33 l bottle from 'NRW Braumanufaktur', best before May 2021. Slightly hazy, amber with a thin, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, quite herbal and slightly fruity aroma of lots of mint, lemon balm and a touch of rhubarb. A little sweet, moderately bitter, fairly herbal and a bit fruity taste of grains, quite some mint and light lemon balm, followed by a short, slightly bitter, quite herbal finish. Almost medium-bodied, gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Really heavy on the mint but that fits quite well with the grainy body. Unusual, interesting, actually quite bold, but also well-crafted.

0.33 l bottle from 'NRW Braumanufaktur', best before May 2021. Hazy, amber (less dark than #4 and #6) with a thin, frothy, almost stable, white head. Slightly sweetish, gently fruity-herbal aroma of pineapple, green tea and some lime. Slightly sweet, moderately bitter, gently fruity-herbal and minimally grassy taste of pineapple, lime, some green tea and hints of grains, followed by a short, slightly bitter, moderately dry, a little herbal-grassy and minimally tart-ish finish.
