Tap at Keyaki. Nice sour apple aroma. Taste is good. Tart, apples good stuff. Feels a touch boozy but nice.

750 ml bottle. Big, juicy cider nose, apples, skin, minerals. Bit of sweetness. Medium gold, lots of bubbles, lace. Interesting apple sweetness, cinnamon, spice, butter, skin, nicely acid, a bit of tannin. Very interesting. Very nice fruit, great balance. Very nice. Best cider ever made in Japan. Almost worth the ¥2600.

750 ml bottle by mail order. Apples, champagne, mineral, sulfur nose. Not complex, but nice. Dry but a bit of dessrt apple coming through as well. Pale gold, light hazy, almost flat. Dry and sulfury, apple, bit of funk, leather. Very light fruity sweetness. Dry as hell. Very light tartness. Crisp, light body. Decent, but rather simple. Rather disappointed after all the love others were giving this. The yeasty part at the bottom of the bottle was by far the best. It was more like 3.7-3.8.

Nice yellow pour, bit hazy with some flakey particles. Not much carbonation. Aroma is nice soft and fruity, even a bit chalky maybe. Taste has some light bitterness also apple peels and light chalk. Very nice dry cider. Not sweet and displays Fuji apples in the very beautiful fashion.

Bottle shared. Thanks Davido! Hazy whitish-yellow with almost no head. Very nice tart apple nose with some light sweet apple aromas, some pear notes as well. Good acidity, especially for a Japanese cider, with some light sweetness as it warms. Fairly dry finish. Very nice. --- Beer merged from original tick of Cidre on 15 Oct 2016 at 22:27 - Score: 8. Original review text: Tart and sweet. Great Japanese

Hazy white yellow color. No head. Tart sweet notes with some sugar notes. Modest tartness, funky apples, highly carbonated but really well balanced tartness. Not massively complex but highly quaffable.
