On tap at Brouwer's Cafe, pours a fairly clear dark orange amber with a large off-white foamy head. Aroma is quite earthy, sludgy and obscured, with earthy hops and a muddy yeasty quality. Flavour is quite different thankfully, with a lovely piney and resinous hop quality bursting through, followed by light earthiness. Very little booziness for a beer of this magnitude. Well-constructed and a nice sipper.

It doesn’t rain here nearly as much as everyone thinks. 22 oz bottle poured and split on a rainy day. Clear copper pour with a patchy head. Sweet fruit and hops aroma. Creamy body with sweet citrus and a bolder finish. Solid IPA.

Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours gold with a large creamy off-white head. Aroma of citrus and light fruits. Med + body (thanks to firm carbonation). Flavor is fruit, citrus, earth. It is bitter. Malt is present, but the hops are the main thing. It’s pretty good stuff. Fresh tasting.

Bottle - Sweet peel and citrus notes and a touch of age. Clear gold with a rich white head. Sweet, bready, cardboard and tropical fruits. Age is a bit apparent on this one, too bad as it has the underpinnings of a nice beer

Bottle - Sweet and light leafy hops with some nice sweet pale malts. Clear gold with a rich off white head. Sweet, bready notes, light hop bitterness and only a touch of hops. Light and refreshing, but hops are a bit faded. Hard to call it a brewing issue as it is 2 months old.

Bottle. Pours a clear orange golden hue with a large white head. A sweet earthy toasted malt nose. Big ripe citrus, tangerines, earthy base malts. Solid. The best of this wet hop series.

Bomber from Uptown Market. Pours a clear orange color with a small white head. A light fruity nose. Earthy malty base, some bitterness, orange peel. Just doesn’t shine in terms of the hops. Amarillo always gives me big sticky sweet resin notes, but I get none of that. Maybe a bit in the initial drink. Just has to compete with a lot more. Getting even some banana notes. OK. Good, but doesn’t fit in the marketing of a single (in this case two) hop series set of beers. Needs more late boil flavor, less sweet malts. I really like the labels.

Bottle from Uptown. Pours a clear orange hue with a medium white head. A nice soft citrus nose, some floral elements. The flavor is essentially an oily fruity mix, oranges, caramel sweetness. Solid. Not great if you expect a big citra bomb IPA. But is overall a smooth drinkable pale. Very nice label, stands out.

@ Eastside Club Tavern. Hazy dull amber with a bubbly head. Earthy hop character. Light bitter, bit of old school hop.
