Quite bitter. Sharp citrus. Then bit malty.

After you've tried the best example of a nu-stout, what can one do with this? Pretty not bad.

mahogany color. Very malty, fairly sweet, with lots of butterscotch, cherry and figs. very turbid, slightly dark amber golden color. Fairly juicy nose of mangos and citrus. Low carbonation, low medium bitterness, not as dank or juicy as I might want but to style and decent enough, as I drink this much faster than I thought I would.

Hazy whitish yellow. Some foam that does not stay too long. Aroma is surprisingly hoppy, together with some stale pond water in the nose. Yes, bit contradicting myself here. Tastes actually nice, first sip was really good, hoppy bitterness and quite creamy wheat beer. After a few minutes, hops are still there, still bitter but overall, other elements feel to be messy. Drinks well anyway, but I guess you:d want to to drink this as fresh as possible. Best before for this beer is in October 2017and I don]t really want to imagine how it would taste by then.

Dark brown pour with some tan beige head. Aroma somewhat sourish, some lacto, yoghurt, cherries and a bit of liquorice. Taste has some cheese and cheesecake, roast and smoke in a rather balanced way, and long bitter burnt bread, roast finish. Interesting creamy mouthfeel, that cheese part is also unusual but otherwise actually better than I thought. Relatively weak body makes this also quite easy to drink. Not bad.

Bottle from the brewery. Pours clear amber, just some carbonation, bubbles seem to be large at first but quite soon they are gone. Aroma sweetish and caramelly as you would expect from a bitter, not very hoppy. Taste similar, caramel, nice clean bitterness, some sweetness and well drinkable. A bit watery as well maybe - but this is only 4% abv beer. Overall, simple bitter, OK.

Light golden amber color. Frothy white. Very dry hoppy nose with lots tropical fruit and lemon. The mouth is dry light hoppy with Apple, pears and tropical fruit. Light body. Pretty well put together nice light hoppy pale ale. Bitterness lingers. Good stuff. So I gave this a 3.7 when it was contracted brewed, but I found the stuff they are making at their brewery a shadow of the contract brewed stuff.

Very dark brown color. Very light brown head. Lots of cacao and licorice in the nose, slightly sweet malty nose. A dusting of cacao, dark fruit, caramel. Short dry finish. Lacks acidity and solid roasted malt character and not enough body despite 6.5%. Despite that it’s not bad.
