Tap at GJBF Osaka 2016. Cloudy orange color. Fruity nose caramel, chocolate, light earthy hop. Nice malt flavors, rich caramel and chocolate, very chewy, though not overly sweet. Needs more hopping imo.

Tap at GJBF Osaka 2016. Nice hop nose, citrus, light malts, just a touch of DMS I think. Hazy golden color. Hoppy, smooth balanced, flavor. Nice dry finish. Enjoyable lager with American hops.

On tap at GJBF 2016 Osaka. A deep brown with ruby accents. It’s got a great bready chocolate & spice aroma that reminds me of a fudge browny. It’s got a medium body that has a finish that is a bit dryer than I’d like but the taste gives dark chocolate, is a bit nutty and roasty. The taste justifies the award this beer won and it was the best of the three I tried by a significant margin. Good stuff, best stout I had at the fest (though they had less than a handful).

On tap at GJBF 2016. Pale ale Pours a nice copper color with a hoppy but slightly syrupy sour fruit aroma. Medium bodied with some buttery diacetyl character. It’s rye bread malt character and few hops make for an underwhelming pale ale with a somewhat ashey finish.

On tap at GJBF 2016. Light gold, slightly off aroma that is eggy and weird. Decent body and taste with an earthy bready green hoppiness and a dry finish. Better than the pale ale.

dark brown color. Nice cacao and a musky perfumy nose, which is a bit odd on a stout. Light body, good roasted malt notes with good cacao note with some fudge and tobacco leafs. Great.

hazy light golden color. Light perfumy hopped nose. Low carbonation, soft hops, rounded. More like an English IPA. Modest bitterness. Not too appealing to American IPA drinkers but actually not too bad.

medium amber.lots of oranges and apples modestly hoppy nose. Soft mouth feel, perfumy but lacking bitterness. Finishes a but dry. Another Okinawa beer on training wheels

very soapy nose slightly sour. A bit sweet and perfumy lacks bitterness. Dry but not bad.
