Soft ginger on the nose, has nice foam on a semi-foggy yellow body. Flavour is heavy ginger with vague hops. Mouthfeel is crisp with more lingering ginger. I actually don't think all these flavours work well together.

Has nice thick creamy head, stormy small bubbles in a nearly clear brownish copper body. Soft hoppy biscuit on the nose. Flavour is mellow biscuit and nothing else. Medium on the mouth. Very boring.

Eingetrübt bernsteinfarben mit weißer Schaumkrone. Vordergründig maziger Geruch mit Citrus. Geschmacklich malzig mit etwas Karamell, hopfig mit Citrus und Pfirsichen. Mittlere Süße mit mittlerer Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Darker shade of blond, hazy, with medium head. The aroma is mild, bready. Good body, bready and husky malts, the hop is quite herbaceous, weeds, rather than noble grass.
A bit off target, but gets points for being bold.

Trüb Orange mit weißer Schaumkrone. Süßer, fruchtiger, leicht hopfiger Geruch. Geschmacklich heftig, fruchtig mit Orangen und Citrus, malzig, leicht hopfig. Mittlere Süße mit mittlerer Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

Seedless Watermelon Wheat Ale from Bridge Brewing Company

Bottle found at Bridge Brewing. Pours a very standard white foam and stormy gold body with carbonation, the aroma is very strong on the mint and weak on everything else. The flavour is slightly more balanced with the cucumber making an appearance but the mint in this concoction is just a bad idea - two soft flavours of watermelon and cucumber versus mint which just ruins everything, what will win? Well, the answer's obvious. This is a mint beer, let's not fool ourselves. I should have read the label more closely because I was expecting a passable watermelon beer, instead all I got was mint. I got chocolates for that.

Murky orange body and no foam, earthy ginger on the nose. Flavour is sharp lime notes and salt. Drinkable, refreshing, simple.

Thin yellow body and little foam, soft juicy yet slightly fake hops on the nose. Flavour is reasonably refreshing hops and a moderately crisp finish. Bowling down the middle it works but is nothing spectacular.

Murky orange body and little foam, sofy sweey saisony grain on the nose. Flavour is a very dry lemony grain, some hops, round malts. Crisp finish. Quite nice.
