Has okay thick medium copper body and foam. Smells of nice fresh hops, sharp and chewy. Tastes of nice piney hops, chunky malt. Ends crisp and full with good oiliness. A solid west coast IPA.

Poured from 473mL can. Brownish yellow with white head. Mild oats, dull stone fruit, light tropical hops. There are some decent notes here, but it's all underlaid by a note of staleness.

Chestnut, small tan head. Light malt nose and palate. Hints of fruit with very late medium strength hop bitterness... Good session beer A standard bitter, NOT an ESB

Okay cloudy yellow body and modest foam. The aroma is good lime, slightly fake, some soft pine to round it out. Flavour is bright lime, piney hops, a bit of floor cleaner vibe but it's bright enough I can ignore it. Crisp and oily, good use of flavours here, succeeds where many others don't.

Okay cloudy and deep yellow body with some modest foam. Smells of soft pine but little else. Flavour is a nice bitter pine character, some pithy hops pushing through. Crisp and oily finish. A good IPA, on the more bitter and oily side and that's okay.

Okay orangey clear copper body and some modest foam. Smells of hoppy caramel with some soft malt. Flavour is nice chewy cracker, soft dry caramel, easy hops. Dry and still refreshing, enjoying this one.

473mL can, pours a clear copperith a medium white head. Aroma brings out lots of ripe banana, candi sugar, alcohol, and resinous hops -- very chaotic -- that banana sure isn't pleasant. Flavour is full of banana and bubblegum upfront, with lots of bitter citrus rind, resinous hops, candi sugar, and alcohol. That bubblegum and banana really isn't pleasant. Not good at al.

Okay brownish copper body and decent foam. Mellow caramelly malt on the nose, semi-sweet, a little soft. Flavour is nice maltiness, smooth with crisp carbonation. Hazelnut lingers, brown sugar. Easy and simple, but gets the job done.

473mL can, pours black with a small light brown head. Aroma brings out lots of maple upfront, with subtle coffee and a touch of cinnamon. Flavour is full of maple, with a bit of spicy cinnamon and gentle coffee. Medium-high residual sweetness. The body is sticky and oily, but not all that complexity.

Draught at the brewery
Golden colour, beautiful, bright, clean. Light aroma of candied fruits, apricots, bread. Chewy blond malts, but lean, moderate sweetness, bold bitterness with some hop resin character, mild pith in the finish. A bit too much alcohol, but overall competently brewed, for a difficult style/category.
