1000ml bottle @ PBF IX, thanks Timo A.
Pours hazy yellow with a foamy head. Aroma of spices, ripe fruits, floral notes, mild leather. Taste is sweetish, spicy and floral with some ripe fruits, yeast and leather. Finish is yeasty and a bit stuffy with some sweet ripe fruitness. Decent.

100 cl bottle @ PBF Ⅸ, BBE
Aroma is slightly stale with soapy citrus and yeasty tones. Also some dough tones. Foamy palate. Flavour has some soapy citrus, yeasty notes and dough. Also hints of apricot. Slightly musty and not the most typical witbier.

100 cl bottle @ PBF Ⅸ, BBE 30.11.2014. Thanks Timo A!
Aroma is rather musty with smoky tones and raw bun dough. Also some apricot. Flavour is somewhat smoky with bun dough, fruity tones and some herbal-like hops. Weird and feels a bit ’raw’.

1000ml bottle. Murky, dark amber colour with small to average, creamy, half-way lasting, moderately lacing, off-white to beige head. Room filling, citrusy hoppy aroma promises more than you get, as long as you keep distance: orange, blood orange, grapefruit. Turning your beak closer, you still get some blood orange, thereto red berries, and, ironically, a soapy, artificial touch of room spray. Taste is initially minimally tart fruity, hints of blood orange and red berries, immediately followed by plain bitterness, maybe a touch of orange zest, later a dry, slightly roasty malty note comes in, even a nutty touch. Unbalanced, un-American, the berry notes have resemblance to those found in some English Bitters. The best I can say is, this may be kinda starting / focal point / crystal nucleus for a kind of Continental IPA; or better, gives an impression of what a Continental IPA may look / taste like. Rating for today: embryonic.

Aroma is bitter in a harsh way with jalopeno-like vegetables. Flavour has cardboard, some chili and peppery spices. Also some sweet fruitiness. The chili does not burn here at all, but tastes as peppery spiciness. Weird stuff.

Aroma is rather weak with some caramel. Flavour has peppery spices, some grass, fruity hops and caramel. Also some smoky tones and a slight feeling of raw bun dough, which seems often to occur on some smoked beers. A bit medicine-like and odd. Nothing offensive here though.

Pours yellowish orange with a small head. Aroma is strange with notes of pumpkin, spices, wheaty malts, floral notes and yeast. Taste is spicy, stuffy and wheaty with some hints of pumpkin. Finish is yeasty and stuffy with some spicy notes. Quite stuffy and a bit strange.
